How to choose the right fitness class to suit your lifestyle

Getting fit can be a bit of a challenge. We all know how hard it can be to fit exercise into an already jam-packed schedule.

The good thing about fitness and our gym, in particular, is that there are so many different classes available. If you don’t want to work up a sweat during a 50-minute spin class (or you want to unwind after work), then why not try yoga instead?

Be Honest About Your Time And Motivation Levels

Choosing the right fitness class to suit your goals is all about being honest about what your lifestyle can support. If you don’t have a lot of time, then spending five nights per week doing an endurance sport probably isn’t right for you. It would be much better to do something short, sweet and effective – perhaps a 20-minute shred straight after work.

Consider Your Capacity To Exercise

You also want to consider the overall state of your health. Not everybody is in a position to go out all at the gym; some people need gentler classes that aren’t too demanding on their bodies. If you’re recovering from an illness, have a disability or are going through pregnancy, then you might want to choose more relaxed forms of movement.

Find Out What You Like

Finally, it’s worth trying a few different fitness classes to see what you like. You might think that boxing is the class for you, only to discover that pilates provides you with a much better experience and fit for your schedule.

We would like to inform our valued members that we are open from 9th November with strict hygiene protocols in place for all.

New restrictions allow us to operate at a patron ratio of 1:4 square meter during staffed hours and 1:8 square meter during unstaffed hours.

Your health and well-being is our number 1 concern. We have implemented extended measures in our facility to ensure that we are able to remain open.

Please adhere to the following rules:

  • If you are sick, stay at home
  • No towel No workout.
  • Arrive on the hour as your workout is limited to the hour. (60 minutes max)
  • Check in at reception prior to workout.
  • Arrive ready for your workout, change rooms and showers are CLOSED.
  • Masks must be worn at all times, except during cardio workouts.
  • Wipe down all equipment after use with the provided disinfectants through the gym.
